Words of the artiste: Our stories are made up of little moments that are lived in the past and are demonstrated in the present. Sometimes we think of these memories as they come to mind, without trying to interpret them or form a complete picture of the event to which they relate. Other times, we want to reconstitute an unfragmented image. This is how we can begin to question the preservation of memory in our memory, especially given the burst of images we receive and the speed of their disappearance with the moment. Evoking memories that are associated with time and place appeals to both memory and imagination. In this series of works, I tried to find new internal reconciliations. It is about creating a connection between the images left in the memory and modified with the change of time of place, through an artistic visual representation. A form that frees itself from all the contradictions that can occur when the details are weak and blurred. My question is how to establish a new relationship with the memories, and how to release them from their segmented frame? The works consist of spaced layers, of different textures and techniques, transparent or opaque, using wire mesh and transparent paper. Depending on the choice of viewing angle that slips between the layers, the images will appear and disappear, simulating their existence in memory.
