Azadeh Yavari

Imprint of the tragic events in his country; war and revolution, Azadeh Yavari imagines a different space-time in his artistic work. Colors and objects change, his perspectives evolve: the boundaries between inside and outside, outside and inside, shadow and light, restless day and calm night, the manifest and the hidden are fade. However, it keeps lines, thresholds, fabrics, curtains more or less light, a little to distinguish, especially to protect: to veil and repress reality in the country where the veil is imposed. "A quest for peace and serenity against violence and social pressure"

She obtained a first prize at the first biennial painting, contemporary art museum in Teheran in 1991.

Azadeh Yavari, is an Iranian painter, graduated in drawing and painting from the National School of Fine Arts in Paris in 1980.
